Activision explained in the above Steam post that all of your progression from the free weekend, including inventory items and unlockables, will carry forward if you purchase the full game. Activision made no mention of any limitations of the free trial like a level cap or restrictions on maps or modes.

Now is a good time to pick up Call of Duty: WWII on PC, as it’s marked down to 38.99€ for the standard edition and 74.99€ for the digital deluxe version. The free weekend and sale are only available on PC, not PlayStation 4 or Xbox One.

Call of Duty: WWII was the highest-grossing game in North America in 2017. Its first DLC pack, Resistance, launched on PS4 at the end of January and comes to Xbox One and PC on March 1.
